Training Sessions

8-Week Specialized Training Sessions

Sadler Football Academy offers an 8-week fundamentals program tailored for up to 6 players per 1-hour session, ensuring personalized, high-intensity training that fosters teamwork, resilience, and technical precision.

Our 1-hour live training sessions deliver a comprehensive curriculum designed to build technical, tactical, physical, and mental skills for young players. Each session combines dynamic drills, small-sided games, and hands-on coaching, reflecting the a winning philosophy and enduring grit.

Here’s what to expect:

Week 1: Ball Control & First Touch Master trapping, shielding, and controlling ground and aerial balls through passing triangles and 1v1 challenges, building confidence and teamwork.

Week 2: Passing & Receiving Develop accurate short and long passes with two-touch grids and give-and-go circuits, emphasizing spacing and communication.

Week 3: Dribbling & 1v1 Skills Hone close control and agility with cone courses and 1v1 duels, fostering boldness and quick decision-making.

Week 4: Shooting & Finishing Perfect striking technique and shot placement with target shooting and 2v3 attacking scenarios, enhancing attacking precision.

Week 5: Defending Basics Learn tackling, marking, and body positioning through 1v1 defending and 3v2 defensive shape drills, cultivating resilience and teamwork.

Week 6: Goalkeeping Fundamentals Grasp handling, diving, and distribution with shot-stopping and angle-narrowing exercises, inspired by Jack Cooper’s goalkeeping legacy.

Week 7: Movement & Positioning Understand off-the-ball runs and basic formations (e.g., 4-4-2) through small-sided games and passing patterns, improving tactical awareness.

Week 8: Game Understanding & Decision-Making Synthesize skills in 3v3 scrimmages and set-piece scenarios, sharpening game reading and mental focus for match situations.
